GDPR Compliance at CTECH

How We Handle Customer Data

Temporary Data Storage:

When a customer requires data backup, transfer from an old device to a new one, or assistance during a factory reset or upgrade, their personal documents, photos, and files may be stored on a secure server located at our premises. This storage is strictly temporary and only used while the work is being carried out. Once the data has been successfully transferred back to the customer’s device and collected, all personal information is permanently deleted from our server.

Customer Repair Forms:
When a device is brought in for repair or upgrade, we record essential customer information in a lever file using a repair form. This may include:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Passwords required to access the device
  • Customer signature for the declaration of repair

These records are kept locked away, confidential, and accessible only to authorized staff.
